annelarissa and i sang for a while and man, that felt good. and we're learning some incredibly cool music. and then there was cookout with rach's friends. i played antisocial until starbuckle showed up. and then we basically mooched some food off them and left to go see king arthur. which i didn't hate. i mean, it wasn't at all good but my expectations were sufficiently lowered by you all. there was enough knightly slashiness and hotass keira to get me through. it was about what i expect of a summer movie. though i suppose if i were deeply attached to the arthur legend, it probably would have pissed me off considerably. it was very much fanfiction. fanfiction with completely horrendous dialogue. and hi, they stole every other scene from lotr.
points to jenny for correctly guessing the composer of the score about 10 seconds into the movie. impressive.
oh, and a rec. rooms and voices byfuschia. unusual and poignant hermione/luna with beautiful language and imagery.
omg, i can't even fathom all the ways i don't want to go to work today. wah.
