a day that starts with the use of my beloved power drill is a day well started. installed the smoke detector in the bedroom. quite a production - drilling holes in the ceiling, pounding in molly bolts etc. i feel butch... and then i had to run and put the fabric softener in the wash. but i brought my drill with me, so i could keep feeling butch. i'm like, martha!butch. yeah. down with that. um, minus the scandals and all.

my friend e-mailed me this morning to tell me that her dog has bone cancer and has to have a leg amputated. ::sob:: this is so sad. makes me want to pick up my sweet little kitty and give her a big hug. of course, she's not actually 'sweet' and she would remove half my face with her claws if i actually tried to do something like that.

i'm feeling like i can do things today. this feeing isn't an every day occurence of late, so i think i should go with it. but first, yayayayay! IP 14!!! and the rest of that evil!harry/draco jen recced me last night (thankees).

oh no... cable people outside again... what will we do if they find us out??? no more buffy reruns! arrrhhhhh!!!!!

Oh, productiveness is fun! Especially when it involves tools. Tools always make me feel like a badass.

i certainly did feel like a major badass while using my tools today. then i wasted the rest of the day playing with lj formats. :( bad. from now on, i should stick to drilling.
