for jacito's 3 fabulous contributions to the TextSlash challenge yesterday, i wrote her this drabble:

Linger

“Don’t go yet.” Ginny tugged Hermione’s hand, pulling her back toward the bed.

“But they’ll be home any minute.” Hermione let Ginny pull her, bending to kneel on the bed.

“So?” Ginny pouted, curling herself around Hermione’s hip.

“So… I shouldn’t be here when they get back.” She leaned forward, brushing Ginny’s hair off her neck.

“You should always be here.” Ginny turned her face and kissed the palm of Hermione’s hand.

“Ginny,” Hermione whispered, “Ginny.” She kissed her lightly, softly, sweetly.


Ron stopped a few feet from the open doorway, mouth falling open, hand frozen in midair, heart breaking.

i didn't mean to be cruel to ron. it just sort of happened.

work was great today. how can this be, you ask? because i got something like 8 responses to today's TextSlash challenge, wrote two drabbles, betaed madmadharri's spandrew and even worked a little on my s/r. yes. that's why work was great.

soon, i will be asking for your assistance in choosing today's TextSlash winner. i find i adore them all. but first i'm going to eat my falafel dinner. mmm.
