first, i know you're all dying to know what's happening with starbuckle's h/r/hr. here's yesterday's installment:

6. it was easy, hermione thought, to let them keep touching her but she knew she was supposed to be watching. she wanted to watch. she made them stop.

and now, yesterday's wacky but oddly compelling crossover challenge! there were four entries - from two people.

Crookshanks watched Chloe from afar. Ah, she was a fine beauty, to be sure. But who could tame the fire that raged within her?

chloe, yes, is my kitty. and she does indeed have a fire raging within her. and this message had me rolling on the floor in silent laughter while at work.

the other three are all from jacito:
sirius is lost and looking for something hidden here, searching with everything but his eyes. Behind ethan rayne's ear he tastes oily dark magic and shudders, fear and want.

jayne's strong fingers are tangled in the curls of the king. aragorn's kisses are rough, the ranger in him still, needing what his elven queen cannot give.

eowyn's been too long in battle, too long among men. she fears she will break inara, calluses tearing, but inara's soft skin shatters her instead.

can we all just take a moment to appreciate the jayne/aragorn? ahahahaha. and i think eowyn/inara is brilliant.

and so, there is no loser today, oh no. two winners is what we have. the prize i have in mind for scott is chocolate... if that works for you, scottieboy. and for jaci, a drabble? i will work on it today in the lull between wires at work.

ok, now. today's challenge: harry's second kiss. (i can't remember whether harry and cho kissed more than once. how bad is that? dude, i really need to reread OotP. but for the purposes of this challenge, i'm really just referring to the second person harry kisses.) 148 characters to my phone about the kiss - any aspect you choose and with any character (hp or xover) you choose.

note: yesterday jaci's messages didn't come through right and she determined the apostrophe to be the source of the problem. jenny has successfully used the apostrophe in some of her messages, so i don't know what happened. but... just so you know. if a message gets messed up in transmission, i'll just track you down later, no worries.
