now it's chloe who's being adorable - lying under rachael's desk with her chin resting on the crossbar of the chair. cuteness.

i just applied for three jobs i don't want. but they don't sound hellish. and i don't want to have to sell my body for rent money.

yesterday i heard david sedaris on fresh air (twice actually) and... well, i expected to be interested and amused. but i was riveted. he's so strange. and fascinating. his thoughts on loneliness and intentional isolation were particularly interesting to me. don't know why. ::smirk:: and his spider obsession/thoughts on obsession in general. he's really just an incredible person. not that he'd admit it.

starbuckle has a softball game tonight. i'm thinking about going but a.) it's so hot out, i might die and b.) i don't know if anyone else is going and i don't want to play the loner. i suppose i could use that fellytone thingamajiggy and call some people.

i have an account at audible.com and i just listened to "me talk pretty one day" (unabridged narrated by david nimself)... so funny!!! i have always loved his segments on "this american life" but hering him read an entire book was great... i'm bummed i missed him on fresh air...
