i conquered my finances. all updated and phew! such relief.

there is a real estate agent showing off the house we live in today. this makes me hostile. i do not want to have to move. grrrrr. ::looks menacing::

oh no! i think i just heard thunder. i was out earlier and thinking that, while it was unpleasantly hot, at least there would be softball. uh oh.

i bought a fountain pen today. not a great one, but a nice enough one. this was a big deal. because i've had the same fountain pen for... ::counts::... 8ish years. i got it when i was in paris with my mom and E. it was the perfect pen. a finer tip than fountain pens often have and so so smooth. waterman. and i lost it. recently. i can't find it anywhere. i've lost it twice before. once i dreamed that it was in my knitting bag and then woke up and found it there. and once it was under the seat in E's car. this time, it seems to really be gone. which breaks my heart. but i can't stand writing in my journal with a normal pen. and the stationary store in town was having a sale on lamy pens. so i bought one. and it's... not my baby. but it will do.
