i don't know whether i'm more impressed with myself for just having conducted an opera or for managing to walk in these heels after consuming so much alcohol. both are pretty impressive, if you ask me.

i'm pleased with myself for my social-ness. after the performance, i hung with my parents a bit and then came back to my hotel room. and then i wondered whether i was missing fun so i managed to make myself call maggie and she picked me up and brought me to her apartment where most of the cast and andrew and peter and some other folks were. it was fun. i am drunky. and i feel all sad to be leaving these people. i even ended up liking jason. it might help that finally tonight he got all his parts right.

oh. they're all such incredible musicians. i am so lucky. ::weeps drunkenly::

i'm hungry.

and it went well tonight. not absolutely perfect, but very well. the audience seemed very into it, so that was fun.

i spent most of the afterparty slashing maggie's brother and andrew in my head. they are so hot for each other. dude.

i'm going to go wander the halls of the hotel and see if i can find a vending machine.

i wish i had taken the time to do this but i feel like the opportunity is past.

but i'll tell you that andrew didn't stay long in any conversation that didn't include raphael. his eyes were on him all night long. he smiled and laughed extra much whenever rafe spoke. they had just gone hiking together earlier in the day (with peter as well, but i don't need to think about that part).

and i think rafe was sort of flustered by his attention. i couldn't whether he was gay or just highly influenced by having lived in europe and being a classical musician. his glasses make him look either german or gay, but it's hard to say which for certain. he's a lot younger than andrew too, which could account for some of the fluster.

but andrew's a pianist and rafe's a cellist and omg, that would be the most adorable thing ever.
