hrm... if i can just do this real quiet-like, maybe rach will keep on playing her new game and i will have time to read ivyblossom's latest before she notices... think?

hey! spike was in my dream last night (as in buffy, not my car - who is also named spike). this is exciting because, no matter how nice i think it would be, i never seem to have dreams about fandom characters. i would love to have me a nice (or not nice) harry potter dream. i have made significant efforts toward having a lotr dream. but no. i just have to read about yours and live vicariously. but spike. that's a start.

we went on a 21 mile bike ride yesterday. amazingly enough, i don't really hurt today. am impressed with myself, yes indeedy. and also, it was fun. the minuteman trail is very pretty - though also somewhat crowded with other active folks.

crazy things will happen today. oh yes. painting of ceilings and the cleaning out of that one room we've been ignoring since we moved in. ugh. and maybe also some swimming at walden pond. but chilly though...

to answer the question - he was ineffectual (ineffective?) spike and he was not singing. there were all sorts of random characters in the dream... there was a gay male couple (no one from real or fictional life) and a guy who was their friend who was having some troubled times... eventually had a sort of crush on one of the couple, and he turned into spike somewhere along the way... and then convered him self with snack food... just a big pile of crackers and stuff while talking to the object of the crush... hmm. yeah, an odd dream.
