ivyblossom's sweet story and the grey coolness of this morning have put me into to lovely, calm, contemplative mood. i feel wonderful. thanks, ivy. thanks, morning.

yesterday was what i would consider a moderately successful day. in that i accomplished some things and didn't feel like a bum by the time i went to bed. this is good. so, the goal is to build on that for today. i have a list of things i want to accomplish. want to know? well... i'm going to list them anyway.
- make present and card for rachel's birthday
- go for a walk
- choose some music for upcoming church services
- draft a letter to church choir
- set up audition for paid singing position
- organize study
- check out job sites rachel sent me
that all seems rather reasonable, doesn't it? we'll see how it goes. at least i have a concept of what i want to do. and thank goodness that the morning started with ivy's story. now i don't have to spend all kinds of time trolling around for a decent read.

tonight we're going out with rachel and her boyfriend to celebrate her birthday. dinner and a movie. possession. i'm all nervous just thinking about it. pleasedon'tsuckpleasedon'tsuckpleasedon'tsuck. damn. i wasn't even this worried about the hp movie. just. i adore this book. and i've thought so many times about how you could or could not make it into a movie. i just hope this person hasn't fucked it up. that's all.
