well, so, yeah, it was ok. i don't have the level of excitement about it that other people seem to have. most likely this is the result of three things: 1) i was feeling a little bleh to begin with and so 2) watched it alone instead of in the usual fun company and 3) i'm in the middle of season 3 and those episodes are so good and so satisfying. this one left me unimpressed overall.

i find myself annoyed by nina... particularly because all of a sudden here in season three i'm all omgcordelia+angel4eva! i came to my full adoration of cordelia only very recently, mostly after seeing her go two weeks ago. and now i'm pissed that she died. but i'm also annoyed by nina because i feel like this season hasn't done enough with the core cast and what's going on with them and between them and outside characters just take away from them. i don't know if that's fair, but it's how i feel.

however, the wesley/fred bits... ♥ maybe because i just watched billy and this feels like an extended resolution to that. but more likely because i adore wesley and it's good to see him getting his smooch on. and i like fred. the btvs/ats is just about the only universe in which i get excited for the het relationships. i think it's because they're written like formulaic slash. i couldn't help but want fred/wes smoochies by the end of that show. though i still (in mid season 3) believe that wes is all for gunn. also that he's gayer than a very gay thing.

oh, and, the gunn part? wah! ::pets gunn:: i want to know more about that right now, please.

ok, that was longer than i thought it would be.

so, i haven't been on lj very consistently since... about sunday. or saturday even. i'm worried i've missed things but there's so much to go back and look at. if i've missed any shout outs, will you shout again? i will try to get to my comment pile today.

oh, and, i would be happy to tell you why i love you if you want to know (and leave a comment).

I don't think Nina is intended to be a long-term love interest. I think it's more about pointing out how much Angel is hiding behind his gypsy curse because of intimacy issues, stuff like that.

ok. my delay in responding to this does not indicate any lack of love on my part. oh no. just extreme abilities to procrastinate on even really fun things.

i love your honesty. you never seem to be hiding anything, covering anything, you just write about what you think and feel, what you're doing. which i love to read and feel like a friend.

i love that you are a fandom-of-one. :) that you write and do what makes you happy. i admire that.

i love you for how incredibly supportive you are - of me and of your other friends. your encouragement has been wondeful to have in my life. you deserve as much from others and i hope you get it.

i love that you friended me back when i randomly friended you so long ago. it was a leap of faith, hee, and i'm glad you made it.

i love that you sang to me even when you were sick. in german, no less. i'm never erasing that message.
