i just watched the angel episode billy and i was freaked beyond freaked by wes's misogyny. i practically cheered for lilah shooting billy (even having seen it coming). i swooned over the angel and cordelia training scenes. and i cried at the end for wesley and his shame. omg, i love this show. how odd.

It's creepy as all-fuck, but so well written. See, I don't watch much Angel, but that episode just stands out for me.

yeah. i can't say i don't watch much angel, but i do think this was a stand out episode. very well crafted and effectively creepy. and the end was weighty enough for the material it dealt with - it would have been awful if it hadn't been.
