so i've been watching angel like it's my job. getting toward halfway through season 2 now. and i've been saying for quite a while that i only watch it because it reminds me of btvs. and that i don't like angel as a character. yeah. ok. so... yeah. i like it, damn it. i've come around. i'm sucked in. i love cordelia. and wes. and gunn. and even angel.

but none so much as lindsey. omg, help me. if no one points me to good lindsey fic, i might die. please. help a sister in need.

Loving Angel the character is so not necessary to loving the show. (And as i said to someone else recently, i'm kinda jealous of the people who are watching the episodes for the first time.)

The guy you really like? His name's officially spelled Lindsey, btw.

I recently found and recc'd "Truth and Law (http://www.echonyc.com/~stax/Buffy/fayjay/truthlaw.html)" (S1 Spike/Lindsey)

A while back i found "Rainmakers (http://biblioteque.obsessedmuch.net/rainmakers.html)," a really great Lindsey/Riley (even if you don't like Riley much).

Temptation's Girl (http://temptation.imjustsayin.net/fanfiction.html), a Faith/Lilah archive, has some fics which include Lindsey, though i don't remember being particularly grabbed by any of them.

it is, indeed, fun to be watching for the first time. except that i'm simultaneously watching the current season so... i see future lindsey while learning his past... yeah. a little weird.

The girl you want is obsessedmuch, not only does she write majorly kickass Lindsey, but she also runs a Lindsey-specific fiction site (check her portal (http://www.obsessedmuch.net)) with only the best of the best. Also, she and ethrosdemon wrote this Lindsey/Xander series called Trilogy that's just, yeah, whoo. My very first exposure to slash it was. *sniff* So great.

It will resonate more if you make it all the way to the end of S2 and Lin's ultimate fate that year.
