ooh, i like a meme where everyone else does all the thinking...

Which of my icons do you think most represents me? Which one (or two, or three) do you see on your friends page and know right away that it's me?

i just kind of fell asleep here at my computer. it's been sort of a long day. the lack of sleep. church. i went shopping with E afterward. got some presents for mmm_cake whose birthday is friday. and then. tooled around i guess. dined with the parents. watched lotr soundtrack dvd. cried. meep.

ok, see, the thing is... well, i don't know what the thing is. why does it mean sooooo much to me that the writers of the movie and the lyrics etc knew the strength and importance of frodo and sam's love? because that's what makes me so happy/sad/tearful isn't it? partly it's a reminder of the beauty of what's in the books, yes, but partly it's an affirmation that what i took away from the books is... really there. central to people besides me. people who have lived and breathed the story. they too came to the conclusion that this epic war story is a story about love.

this coming weekend... i can't really believe it's going to happen. even if it were just the trilogy all in one day again, i would be excited. but add to that the presence of viggo, elijah, sean b, andy and pj. and another side of my inner fangirl freaks out. add to that the inevitably geekerific discussion with pj on sunday. and getting to meet fearlessdiva and hang with her and camillafarfalla and starbuckle. and now likely meeting musesfool as well. and thejennabides and co. too. wah!!! ::passes out::

and also, even before that weekend, i have two days in nyc with my lovely gf to look forward to. what did i ever do to deserve all this goodness?

omg,this is so hard. ...... they're all so you. well, my overall answer is any of the ones that say 'want' - as that is so clearly your thing.
