someone in my real life today actually asked me for slash recs - completely out of the blue. (to me anyway, apparently she chatted about this with hominidj) anyway, she wants to read smallville slash... which is great, but i don't know what's good that's out there.

recs? please? this is too good an opportunity to pass up...

Read anything by Te (start with the Project series), jenn, Hth, The Spike, and Livia. That should keep your friend busy for awhile. (http://smallville.slashdom.com)

Yeah, the SSA is a good place to start. Just do a search on any of the authors mentioned here, and you'll get some good stuff. Te is indeed a marvelous writer ("Past Grief" just breaks me), and I also really enjoyed Helena Handbasket's short series (sequence goes "Eleven Letter Words"--"Botta Secreta"--"Denny's Napkin Incident"--"Please Do Not Tease The Boy Scouts"--"Quietus Interruptus"), though the last one is a bit of a letdown. Also read FayJay's stories (pandarus)--she's one of my very favorite writers.

excellent, thanks miss kate. yeah, another convert... i'm on a roll! of course, this now means that i'll have to read all the smallville stuff too - so i can discuss with judy... ::sigh:: yet another fandom... and i'm only just skimming the surface of buffy slash right now. not enought time to read all the slashy goodness. *g*
