i had ally mcbeal moments yesterday, wandering around in the boston that's probably what most people think of when they think of boston. but it's not my boston. it's where eileen works though. so, wander wander. i wandered over to the toy store in faneuil hall to see the harry potter built out of legos. weird. i took a picture, since i had my dig camera on me, but now i'm too lazy to upload it. oh well.
later we were in back bay, which feels a little more like my boston, but still not, largely due to the overdressed rich people and foofy stores. we got new cell phones... that was the whole point of being there. a family plan. rach and i and her friend and her bf... long story but it needs to be a secret that they call each other. so it's all in my name. which is a little scary.
tonight, my dad and i are going to tanglewood. whee! a concert of mozart and dvorak. james conlon and emanuel ax! we'll stay over there. and then he wants to stop in shelburne falls tomorrow and look at train things. yep, dad's a train freak. whatever. i have my slash, he has his trains. i won't be mentioning that though. the slash part. mmmm... the more i'm thinking about it, the more deliriously excited i am about this concert... haven't heard a first-rate performance in... months, at least. and now that it's all rainy here, i'm particularly glad i got us real seats, not lawn seats. yayayay. MUSIC!

(read back a few entries in your journal - not a stalker, much) before this, i was in harvard square. both have their perks. nice, to have someone who knows the locations i'm throwing out there.i'm actually in east somerville - the area made famous by irish mobsters - aka the winter hill gang. yes, i need a good middle/nickname. phineas 'whitey' jones or somesuch.
my, i'm chatty today.
