the concert last night went pretty well, i would say. there were a few scary moments... but i expected that with this group, which is led with a very laissez faire attitude. i think anney and my duet went well. we had one scary moment of our own, which i'm pretty sure was my fault - we were supposed to be in unison and i picked some other random note and we both freaked out for a second but fortunately pushed right ahead and the moment passed. it's a text-heavy, long and winding little piece and i feel pretty good about how we did. and we get another shot on sunday! whee.

emriver, scottxwl, mmm_cake, pritchkate, willysunny and dorrie6 all came to the performance. this made me very happy - i love having friends in the audience. and dude, i'll tell you, if you're ever performing, you want dorrie6 and willysunny in the audience. they were right in the center of the hall and they just had the best involved and supportive expressions on their faces the whole time. i think they made me perform better.

so now, a busy day. again. i have a voice lesson this afternoon and i have to drive east for a choir rehearsal tonight. and before that, i have a myriad of life things to attend to. which means there are a myriad of lj/fandom things i just won't get to. :( it's just going to be this way for the next few weeks, i fear. bear with me, if you will.

Sounds like all went well :::cheers::: I'm sorry I wasn't able to come see you guys sing last night, I was definatly not good company and I didn't want to spread my bad vibes as that makes everything worse. What time is Sunday's performance? I'll be out of town most of the day but if it is in the evening I may be able to come.;....or I may have to ask for a private performance!

the performance on sunday is at 2:30 in holyoke. we'd be happy to sing for you any time (literally) if you can't make it.

also, we're all going over the mount holyoke for their christmas concert afterward in case you're interested.

I have my sister in laws baby shower at 1 in eastern mass so i won't be able to make the concert, unless it snows as is expected then I can make it as I'm under strict instructions not to drive to e. mass if it is snowing....can't argue with that when I don't have snow gear on me car.
