i just realized two things.

1. i've been thinking it's funny that so many people who have friended me and who i have friended recently never seem to post. right. i had filtered them out accidentally. oops. sorry, folks.

2. it's fearlessdiva's birthday!!! and there was much rejoicing throughout the land.

I wrote a short ficlet in response to your cummings challenge. It's here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/edeainfj/71109.html) on my journal, but I had to make it friends-only because my students know about my site. It's also posted here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/remusxsirius/74095.html) at the remusxsirius community, for linking purposes. Anyway, thanks for a great challenge. e.e. cummings is my favorite poet, so I had to write something for it! :D

Thank you so much for the pretty pic, and the kind birthday wishes, and the incredible book, which I got in the mail recently. It's so gorgeous and wonderful I'm sort of reluctant to write anything in it. I'm still deciding what use would be dignified enough to be worthy. I'll let you know when I make a decision.
