annelarissa's coming to sing us a solo! yay! today's sermon is 'beyond belief' - with discussion of recent jesus study, mystical tradition v. orthodoxy, the creative imagination of religious liberals and reference to elaine pagels new book on the gospel of thomas. as a former historical jesus geek, i'm very interested to hear what she has to say. for the music, i focus on that mystical thing. anney will sing vaughan williams' the call from the five mystical songs. the choir will sing come down o love divine - such a lovely tune, ah yes.
oops. i have to leave in 10 minutes and i need to dress and eat first. haha. ::runs::
