phineasjonesi was rather surprised last night in my on-line wanderings to come across an anti-hp slash community. ? i suppose it's a bit naive of me to be surprised by this. but, damn, don't people have better things to do with their time? i have never seen a case of anyone being forced to read slash. if you don't like it, don't read it. duh. and they were so darned snooty about it. just get the hell over yourselves.
mmmmm coffee cake. this is the best stuff ever. ever. yum.
so much to do today. pooh. yesterday, while helping matt move, my car was ticketed bc the registration has expired. oops. this has happened to me so many times... it's just ridiculous. utterly so. so... must pay off outstanding parking tickets... and find out what else must be done. as it's illegal for me to be driving. and has been since the end of may. haha.
may i take a moment here to say that i love j.s. bach? i am quite aware that this is not the most original statement in the world. however, sometimes love like this just needs to be expressed. i mean, omg. brilliance like this... i think it may happen about once in a millennium. or um, ever. i'm listening to the new cd which demonstrates the hidden chorale melodies in the violin partitas. how could everything he did be so technical and mathematic and so utterly, breathtakingly, heartbreakingly gorgeous at the same time? aaaaarhrrrhhrhh! it kills me!
movie marathon weekend of the 10th works for me. are we on? only possible kink in the plans for me (us? i don't know what rach is up for) is that rach's mom is in a play in the williamstown theater festival and although she had previously told us not to come, this morning she called all tearful bc she missed rach soooo much. whatever. anyway, we might have to go to a play that weekend. i don't know what night or anything. and technically, it's all sold out anyway, so if she can't procure tickets, then nevermind. so, yes? and i suspect i won't be able to wait that long before coming out there again. if it becomes legal to drive my car sometime soon, i may have to make yet another trip. buffy!
