[livejournal.com profile] annelarissa's here! she's here!!!!

she's here and the truck full of her and jenny's stuff is empty. it took anney, her mom and stepdad and [livejournal.com profile] scottxwl and later rach and me about 1 hour to get everything into the apartment. amazing. she's here!!!!!!!!!!

and i need a new friday plan that doesn't involve getting on the mass pike in rush hour traffic. probably i need to go to work earlier and leave earlier. which means i need to go to bed earlier on thursdays. which means i can't really do laundry at my parents' house. pooh.

the potential will/bran story is just gnawing at me. but there are several obstacles at this point. A. i have not actually finished reading SotT. yeah, that's right. i've been spending all my time with the slash. bad bad bad. but i'm close and i'll finish soon. B. i can't plot for crap and this story needs a plot. but beyond the sort of general plot concept - which i have almost formed - it's going to take some attention to detail that i don' have a great capacity for. i mean, the books feel so random to me... i can't keep track of the rules about what the dark and light can and can't do to whom and when. very confusing. C. oh, i don't know. but i like things in groups of three.

i did get to talk on the phone to [livejournal.com profile] camillafarfalla about the whole will/bran thing finally and there was much crazed squeeing. ahhhh. always feels better to vent the fannish craziness with her.

i also talked to C who just got back from connecticut where she was organizing yale workers. she pulled off some amazing stuff - got replacement workers to bail out and join the strikers. and then ended up negotiating to get those people jobs when the strike ended. impressive work, my friend.

I think emriver and I had the same sort of idea except mine included you dropping them here some time of Thursday before practice.

i think i prefer dad's version. i mean, clearly, as its less work for me. :) but it's not so much the 'work' as the driving. that would be a extra hour in the car for me. i'd almost rather lose the hour of sleep.
