yay! e-mail back from the early music guy. he remembered me (ok, i kinda thought he would but i didn't want to assume). he has voice teacher suggestions and he invited me to sing with his early music choir and told me about a couple master classes i could participate in. whee!!! i'm going to contact the teachers pronto and i'm totally going to sing with the group. i remember him as rather an annoying conductor (too wishy washy) but A. he is an expert in his field and B. this semester they're doing a program of english music - medieval to 1650. ::drools:: as long as... wait. ex-gf E couldn't possibly still be singing/playing with them, could she? it's been many years... ::googles:: hm. well, nothing comes up. i guess i just have to hope she's moved on. eee!!! i get to sing!

Oh, it's so nice to hear that you have found an outlet for your singing.

Date: 2003-09-18 06:41 am (UTC)actually, there's lots of early music stuff here. it's one of the neat and odd things about this place. you can never get a viola da gambist for a concert in boston but here it's no problem.
and thank you thank you! i'm very pleased.

Date: 2003-09-18 07:16 am (UTC)think maybe i could peek at your teacher list sometime? and maybe just maybe sing for your guy and see if he'd perhaps let me tag along for the ride with the choir? even maybe starting next semester 'cause i'll be in late and he has no reason to believe that i can read?
::cries for joy::
