eek! a challenge!

ok, here's the deal. i've never done this but i'm going to do it now. i am currently completely obsessed with the poem i like my body when it is with your body by e.e. cummings. if you will write a fic based on that poem in some way - whatever way, whatever pairing- i will give you something. that something being, specifically, a book. made by me. blank or text - up to you. if you want one, that is. you don't have to have one, of course. but this is my offer.


i like my body when it is with your
body. It is so quite a new thing.
Muscles better and nerves more.
i like your body. i like what it does,
i like its hows. i like to feel the spine
of your body and its bones,and the trembling
-firm-smooth ness and which i will
again and again and again
kiss, i like kissing this and that of you,
i like,slowly stroking the,shocking fuzz
of your electric fur,and what-is-it comes
over parting flesh....And eyes big love-crumbs,

and possibly i like the thrill

of under me you so quite new

eta: do you need incentive? anney says: and phinny makes beautiful books, folks. works of art. if i were ever going to be brave enough to write anything, surely this would be the offer that would draw me in.

i'm biting, but you didn't have to bait with a book. :D i would like to see what they look like, though. who knows, hm?

i can write a lot of pairings, are they any you would like to see?

oh, fabulous. i'd say you should go with whichever pair speaks to you. more girlslash is always more than welcome though. or harry/ron. the world needs more harry/ron. and since i consider it my mission to make that happen, i figure i should at least mention it. :)

i just finished writing it, no one's looked at yet, i haven't even read through it myself. (i am sure there are errors that i didn't pick up on while writing) it was deliciously fun to write, a flow of thinking if you will. i hope you like it, though and... i hope it fits with the poem? i'm not sure. eep. it's a bit longer than i expected, but characters have minds of their own, you know.

i want to put it up on girlslash before anyone else gets their eyes on the link. freeservers are not happy servers. woe.

i read it through and i think it's perfect for this challenge and generally fabulous. i tend not to care for ginny too much (well, more now after ootp) but ginny who's got it bad for hermione is another story. this is incredibly sweet in the best way. i can' wait to spread the word.

i feel the same way about ginny. i'm not even a huge fan over hermione/ginny. it just seemed, well, good for the poem.
