wow. now is the time to go play in the cemetery. i just looked out my front windows and the mist is so thick, i could barely make out the gravestones. halfway into the cemetery, i can't see anything at all. crazy. it looks really spooky.

it's been an amazingly calm morning for me - given that i had to be up before 6 and i need to leave at 7. i did this wacky thing last night where i got all ready for this morning. heh. i never do that. but it's been great, i must say. sort of reminds me of the first day of school when i was younger. when i'd pick out my outfit and line up my notebooks and all. yeah, i was like that. for the first day anyway.

this morning will be our first service with the new minister. i have all sorts of appendages crossed that she'll be interesting at the very least. after my early rising and extended drive, i'll be only too likely to fall asleep otherwise.

i spent way too much time putzing with my journal layout yesterday. and was not successful or satisfied. just now, i got closer... but am still not satisfied. if all goes well (and i have no reason to believe that will be the case) i may end up with a mild remus-y theme. here's hoping.

ok, time to put the coffee in the travel mug and hit the proverbial road. or. uh. the actual road.
