phineasjonesi like the new lj look. very clean. change is good.
i was going to leave for work at 8. now i'm aiming for 9. cuz, yeah. sleep? not so much. this afternoon's drive back to noho will be brought to you by the mood-altering substances caffeine and sugar.
so. yesterday i managed to run around and do pretty much everything i meant to do. pretty much. when i got to church, A (the RE director was there). it was great to see her again. she mentioned that she's 39. i knew she must be somewhere up there (as she has two teenage daughters) but wow... she seems so much younger. in a good way. anyhoo, she was all excited to tell me that her daughter is obsessed with orlando bloom and went to see pirates 5 times this summer and then insisted on watching fotr and ttt, like, every day. ahaha. i kept thinking... hmm. yeah, just hmmm. but that was fun.
and then rehearsal was pretty darn good. a bit of a shock to the system. we had a good crowd - full attendance plus two new folks. which means i'm back to standing in a pew so they all fit. which kind of stinks. alas. but it was good to see everyone. and they learned their music quickly... which is good since we only have that one rehearsal. yeah. i do feel kinda rusty. but. good. i'm very curious to see how sunday goes - with the new minister and all.
and now, i'd better work on getting out of here and going to the other job.
