we're off to the cape, yo ho! well, no, not really. first i'm going to spend the day working in boston. then i'll meet rach and her mom on the cape. i hope this is a fun weekend and the weather cooperates by giving us at least one beach-worthy day. and before i go, i'll write in my journal which is that much more exciting because it's a new book, completely empty. mmm. books. (it's the one you gave me, starbuckle.) i finally finished the one i got last year in venice. finally.

so, it would seem that mmm_cake and i - along with people we coerced - are the only ones 'round here who watched fame. i'm not entirely sure how we got into it - when we were packing and desperately needed a break, i'm sure. but. i just need to squee one more time that harlemm lee won the day. it restores my faith in humanity. i mean, really, cheezy as his adorable performances were, no one watching could manage not to smile. and he's tiny and chinese and 36 years old. and he beat the skinny, blond britney-look-alike. ::smiles::

yep. that's all i'm going to say about that. i've already embarrassed myself enough. i would just like to close by saying that this humidity can bite me. i'm sick of it, savvy?

Yeah for beating the britney wanna-be! I thought Harlemm Lee was wonderful even if I was amongst the coerced! I'm so glad he won.

eee, i'm so glad he won too. he's so frickin cute. did you see what he sang last night? tomorrow! from annie! i adore him. yes.
