at the paint store this afternoon, the (young) guy at the counter called to me to get my attention, "MRS. Jones!"
...
even worse, he had a north shore accent, the accent of my youth, the accent in which teachers were addressed. mrs. my ass.

anyway. so. i've always thought that the only bnf for whom i would don a string bikini and stomp on into the mud pit was ivyblossom. still true.

"fandom go boom" is right. :::hides::: it's back to the periphery for me, yo. :::hugs fandom from far away with go-go gadget arms::: am wearing my "unsquickable" t-shirt. it fixes everything.

and yeah, i'm almost down with the pointing and laughing... except for the original meanness. that just gets me all worked up. i just can't take the mean.
