i'm not really excited about my body's decision to feel all kinds of yucky right now, for my last day of work. that's enough of that, ya hear?

i have to write out my little card for the evil!minister. in which i will say all kinds of untrue things such as, 'i'll miss you!'

we went to border's yesterday to find the carver poetry and i saw their OoTP release party plans and it made we want to go to one of those things. i mean, it would be kind of sad to miss such and event, especially given the role those books play in my current life. but. hmm. am moving. and that will be the last good weekend for packing. but. live music! tons of insane fans. hm. it would be fun to go with the nehp kids, but i'm not dragging my ass out to the 'burbs for this. powerfulkatrina expressed an interest... anyone else going to be in cambridge/boston?

I need to ask the bookstores here again, now that it's a week away, if they're really going to have their act together to have it by Saturday like they said they probably would. "Probably" isn't gonna cut it anymore; I need to know that they're getting shipments of boxes in like at Jenny's B&N. Though, if I just had a steady stream of Ivy fic coming in, that'd really be just as good. ::dies a thousand deaths from the the beauty of the last chapter:: It was so fucking good, my god. Thank you so much for sending it.

the saddest thing is, we'll be so busy, i don't know when i'll have time to read it. but the more i think about it, the less i can tolerate the idea of not being involved in the freakish fannishness that will happen this weekend. i mean, i'm a freaky fan every day, might as well go be public about it while i can. no?

oh, you temptress, you. what's the general plan? i poked around over at nehp a wee bit and saw plans to eat at a very un-vegan sounding resto and grew further discouraged and went away. instead of saying anything, yes, childish, i know. um, but... i guess my question is more about afterward (however late that will be)... where goeth ye?
