camillafarfalla safely delivered onto airplane. she's headed your way,
annelarissa. time at the airport was pleasant and rather random. the logan international terminal is just about the ugliest such place i've ever been. moreso now than ever due to construction. but i strolled around with camilla and her mom and stepdad (do you call him that, camilla? or is he mom's husband?) hmm. camilla deals remarkably well with a mother who worries
way too much about her super-competent daughter and a stepdad who has a
terrible sense of humor and seems to think he knows something about everything. they drove me home - after i had given camilla enough hugs for both her and anney. her mother told a little story about how camilla had been late learning to cross streets since she grew up in such a rural area and so it's so strange to see her get on a plane to rome like a big girl. (ok, i added the 'big girl' part, but she was thinking it). and then she drove _so_ nervously from the airport to here that i thought she was going to have a heart attack. see. camilla's actually been living in cities, here and in italy, for quite a while. she's not the one i would worry about, personally.
i'm so sleepy. considering an attempt at a nap. i could at least lie down and read
fingersmith for a while. omg, it's getting soooo good. sarah waters is master of the crazy plot twist. you think you know what's going on and then whoa!!! nope. i'm eating it up. moremoremore.
