the cable man is coming

as i suspected, time spent with rach's high school friend was rather boring. nice as she is. we went to chinatown for good veggie dinner. but the conversation did not do much to pull me out of my lack-of-sleep-and-too-much-slash-reading induced fog. so when we came home and sat around and boring conversation continued, (given, it may not have been boring if i knew any of the people they were talking about)i almost fell asleep in my chair. so i excused myself, sprawled on my bed, and promptly fell asleep. it was about 10:30. i don't know how i was lying, but i don't recommend it. when i woke at 1 to go brush my teeth, turning or leaning my head to the right hurt like a motherfucker. still does. ow. owowowow.

i can't spend all day today reading hp fics. can't. muscles will atrophy. that would be bad. so... here's the plan. spend morning alternately reading this and getting starbuckle's lil' package ready to go while waiting for cable man to show up. then... will put bike on back of car and take it to the shop for a tune up. have lunch with rach. and then, if i actually do that much, i don't even care what i do with the rest of my day. though, job searching would certainly be a good idea. hmmm.

ow. the pain is spreading from my neck into my shoulder. ow.

hey! you've been putting your house in order, moving boxes, unpacking boxes, moving furniture, cleaning this, cleaning that, decorating the other thing, etc., etc. that all counts as exercise!

yes, but somewhat due to tiredness, yesterday i mostly read. in front of the computer. not particularly good for the body.
