the e-gift certificate my mom gave me for my birthday - for which i am extremely grateful, make no mistake - is really one of the silliest things i've seen. it's a gc for any on-line retailer. so you go to the site and you choose the retailer(s) you want to shop from and then you enter your info and they mail you a gift certificate. like, post office mail. so now, i'm bouncing in my chair, waiting for the thing to show up because i have a somewhat sudden burning desire to read the dark is rising books and i've had my order on hold for a while now. ::drums fingers:: i'm ordering those and the angel dvds. that was my long-thought-out and well-advised decision. now... just waiting.
