thanks to mmm_cake's efforts, i was up at 7 today. baby steps, yo. and i felt awful... head full of pressure and all sniffly. but it seems to have subsided. this is good.

uoh. a full weekend approaches. for the record, i like empty weekends. tonight, we'll go see the brahms requiem downtown with R and O. i'm excited for that. rach and i will meet them in chinatown for a tasty dinner and then take in the performance. i got the tickets for free, making the whole evening rather cost effective as well (they're $40 tix, go me). saturday we have the dress rehearsal for the mozart n' brahms concert. and rach's high school buddy, J is coming to visit. sunday - church, the mozart brahms performance then we head off to western mass so rach can check out the umass grad program on monday. we'll get back from that just in time for me to work monday night. whew.

and this is completely random... but since no one has any idea where he is, well, everyone can be looking, right?

John Daverio, a College of Fine Arts professor in the school of music, has been missing since Sunday, March 16, when he left his office at 855 Commonwealth Ave. between 8:30 and 9 p.m. He was wearing a red waist-length jacket, a blue flannel button-down shirt, and brown loafers. He is 48 years old, 5’ 7”, has dark brown hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and wears eyeglasses.

The Boston University Police Detective Division encourages anyone who may have seen him on March 16 or who socializes with him and knows of places he may frequent to call 617-353-3436 or e-mail BUPD914@bu.edu.

i wonder if they meant to mention his trousers as well in that description... the story changes a little if he was really only wearing a shirt, jacket and loafers.
