i'm a little squeeful right now (hidden under layers of exhaustion) about the music service at the church on the 13th. the mozart coronation mass. not the performance with orchestra - which is sunday - i think that will be passable but the orchestra's not very good and the brahms is in rough shape. no, the music service will be just my choir, no riff raff. and dude, they are sounding so good on this mozart. they're going to blow the congregation away. they've never heard them do anything like this before. the faure last year was great too... but this is harder in some ways. and definitely flashier. and they've learned it rather quickly. and we still have a few weeks!!! yayayay!!!! i'm just patting myself on the back here for finally getting the timing right on one of these things. no rush of last minute rehearsals and tearing my hair out in stress. ::sigh of relief:: yay.

also, tonight they told me i play piano better than their old director. the thought that i play better than anyone is pretty exciting. and it means that he really, really sucked.

i read an h/d soap opera this afternoon pre-nap which contained no sex.* ::yawn:: come on, people, get with the program. porn! or, at least a little nookie. hey,

*neither the h/d nor the nap contained sex, but i was referring to the fic. i'm just too tired to figure out a better sentence.
