oh sisters, let's go down

phineasjones::clings:: oh, i meeeessed you. it's been, like, a day and a half since i've really been on here. oh, the trauma. except, of course, not really since i was having a grand ol' time here celebrating and stuff. now i just have a bit of catching up to do. i'm at skip 90 now and still going.
i'm overwhelmed by lovely gifts - from family and friends (some of them being you guys). and really, that's a good state in which to be.
i continue to be worried and frightened about this. it's been a week now. where is he?
this morning at church will be all about the war... or people's thoughts about it anyway. my guilty joy about this? there will be no sermon! all readings and sharing and music etc. seems likely that it will be a very nice service. the choir will sing precious lord and rutter's gaelic blessing (to which the choir likes to refer as 'garlic dressing'). and a little trio will sing some other stuff. and i will get to listen. c'est bien.
