phineasjoneswhat i've learned today is that being 28 means people are extra nice to you. it's true today, why wouldn't it be true every day of 28?

annelarissa with a hand painted mug and plate and some tea. yay for packages. and rach gave me another advance present last night - a mug with a lid - for drinking near the laptop. *g* and then starbuckle called me! and we giggled together for quite some time. and this morning rach pounced on me in a very cat-like fashion to wake me and wish me happy birthday all at once. judy came out of her room singing me a birthday song... something about how i'm 13 todaaayyy... plus 15.
and then here i get on-line to find e-cards from my mom and anney... pick up my phone to find a text message... from someone! who are you? it says lj@livejournal.com... does lj send birthday text messages? who is that?
and all the lovely, first thing in the morning lj happy wishes fromcamillafarfalla, emriver, suckeriove, pritchkate, earthquake1906 and scottxwl... i love you all. and everyone else too. ::one bigass hug::
28 rocks.
and it's been welcome... as i've been in a wee bit of a funk. i'm still very worried about dr. daverio. no sign of him yet. no leads, no clues. and, of course, the world. this country. bleh. 28 doesn't like that part.
but 28 gets to go to the museum of science this morning - all paid for by my temp job! how much do i love those inclusive UUs? it's a staff outing so they decided they'd call me staff. lovely. a good way to get my rear end out of the house today so i don't spend my first day of 28 moping around by myself. yay.
