we went shopping in stapleton yesterday. stapleton is, imo, freakishly weird. it was once the airport for denver. and is now becoming a city. they're just... building a city. houses, schools, streets, parks and, of course, mega mall upon mega mall. we were trying to get out of one such mega mall when we dead ended here. there were just piles of dirt on the other side of the sign. and one gigantic moon. and one of these days, i'll get off my ass and figure out how to take less blurry pictures in low light.

the shopping yesterday was mostly in preparation for miami. rach needed a bathing suit. i needed some capris. we are going to be staying mere blocks from miami beach. this is so strange. and exciting.

oh! and i need to be printing out fic for the airplane ride. i'm thinking some long f/k. any suggestions?

so, i bought some fannish merchandise from cafe press.  and, turns out, i bought the wrong size.  i made a request to exchange them and it turns out they'll send new ones along but they don't want the other ones back!  so... anyone interested?  i have this one (blue) and this one in XLs.  i'd say they run large.  i am usually on the L/XL border and these are quite large on me.  especially the short-sleeved one.  i ordered XLs because i have a "ringer" T from cafe press in XL and it's actually a bit tight.  not so with these.  so.  if anyone is interested in either or both of these, let me know!  if not... they'd probably make good night shirts or something.  :)

*ok, not really.  i mean, i'm sure he works out, but i'm also pretty sure he doesn't do it at a 24 hour fitness in westminster, colorado.  but as i made my way from the treadmill to the stretching area, i saw this guy on the weights who totally made me do a double take bc whoa, eddie olmos look-alike.  weird. 
speaking of which... ::whimpers::  i am both excited for and terrified of tonight's bsg.
