Aug. 10th, 2005 08:48 amomg. studystudy. am stress ball. will never be ready for exams.
wah.
this morning i have a check in with jeanne (add coach-lady). i think this is well timed since i'm feeling a little wacky in the head.
something good, though, is this house. it's so lovely. and we actually got rid of enough stuff before moving that it's fairly open and spacious. and so so pretty. also, it's just so conveniently put together. take a lesson, new england. there are electrical outlets everywhere you would possibly want one. we have a thousand extension cords from previous apartments but we don't need any of them. the cabinet where the pots and pans go has pull-out shelves so we don't have to get down on the floor and bang around when we want to cook. there are a thousand cabinets in general... so all our stuff actually fits. the windows are new. the house is sunny but manages to stay cooler than the outside in the crazy heat. the cats love all the open floor-space to run around in.
now, if all my friends would move into the neighborhood, i'd be a happy little camper. well, if all my friends moved in and then i didn't have to taken these freakin' exams, then i'd be happy.
i'll post some pictures soon, really i will. even though there is still a list of things i want for the house. it's not likely i will be getting those things any time soon, as we have already stretched the limits of our budget. but they're not practical things, just aesthetic - a rug and different curtains for the study, frames for some posters, stuff like that.
must get ready for jeanne call now.
