this is the post that never ends
Aug. 15th, 2004 01:28 pm(seriously, i think spent about an hour and a half writing this.)
ahhhh, lazy sunday morning. past noon and i'm still in pyjamas. this is good. i'm considering a second pot of coffee too. because yum.
yesterday was a lovely day all around. we went out for breakfast to a nearby cafe. i was not impressed with their scrambled tofu. but at least they offered it. vegans have a rough time going out for breakfast. and then we went to shelburne falls. just for fun. we strolled the bridge of flowers, went to mccusker's, looked at the glacial potholes. and saw some extremely cool glass-blowing. and it was nice out. and we stopped by a fabric store in greenfield on our way back. lovely. and then my dad came by and we went to the 'taste.' rach and i ate lots of fried things. oh, and some steamed dumplings from the tibetan restaurant that has yet to open but they were so delicious, i am even more excited for that restaurant now. and then we spent the rest of the night hanging around the house. we watched chicken run, i touched up my lj layout, rach sewed and i made ( these icons )

and now, even after being away, i have a few recs.
-i believe this was widely recced, but i'll just add mine in case you happened to miss it -starbuckle's too hot to sleep, which i had the pleasure of beta-reading. it it trio smut. it. is. hot.
-jjtaylor's sirius/remus based on a scene from a play about housman is here. it's really just beautifully devastating.
-jj also wrote take me - hermione/bellatrix smut that OMG is so incredibly hot. like... omg. hot.
-madmadharri wrote make me a real boy - spike/andrew - and i, once again, had the great pleasure of beta-ing. this story is short and incredibly sweet. in a way that i really needed after the angel finale. it picks up right where the show left off and really just eases my mind with the possibilities it offers. also, it's spandrew. ♥
