mmm. here we are in teh parents' house again. my penultimate week of this for the summer. the sunday after this one is the last choir sunday until september! crap, i need work.

i think i've decided to stop working at church #2. i should really sound more definite about this since i have to talk to my boss about it today. but... well, my drive will no longer be subsidized by church #1. i don't care about the work anymore, i haven't been giving it any effort and i think they deserve better. i'll need to work more than that over the summer but having to come out east every week limits my job (temping or otherwise) possibilities in the valley. and it would be nice to just be in one place for a few months. church #2 pays about 1/3 more hourly than i'll make in the valley but can only offer me 2ish days a week.

so, i think leaving is the right thing to do. i'll feel bad telling L, but i think it's best. meep, tell me i'm doing the right thing!

oh, and did i mention that rach will be working three days a week in boston for the summer? yeah, so my timing sucks watermelons.

and this means that i need to find work in the noho area right now. ahh, pressure, gotta love it.

eek. much fic to read. much fic to beta. many comments and e-mails to respond to. but i have to go to work now. workbleh.

ohhh. i can't tell my boss i want to leave. i can't! wah!

who wants to come to boston to have lunch with me? i just can't handle the thought of not leaving this office all day.

oh hey! i had a dream last night in which i met jjtaylor. in some kind of office. a bunch of other people were there but i only remember mmm_cake specifically. right, j.j. didn't know who i was at first and i kind of freaked her out (it was apparently her office and the bunch of us just showed up). and she looked like stell266. much with the randomness.

hm. i'm back from lunch and my plan upon returning was to discuss things with the boss and have her tell me how to spend the rest of my time here, since i have finished the pressing project. but she is nicht hier. so, over lj i go and there are only two new posts since last i checked.

ho hum.
