so many links and recs and open windows. whew. it's a bit overwhelming. fun to have good reading awaiting me, though. yes, indeed.

i woke up at some point in the late night/early morning with a strange sensation of warmth on the side of my face. it took me a groggy minute to realize that it was idgy. she had curled her little self up next to my head, tucked herself slightly under my chin. oh my heart. she is such a sweet kitty. a few hours later, she was a crazy pinball of energy, running all over the room, up on to the bed, around and off again. cutie.

this is a wee audience reaction questionnaire about lotr. just spreading the word.

ahh. i like today. i have a lot to do - organizing and cleaning mostly - and a lot to read. but it's all at my leisure. which is fantastic. and my girl is not at school! which is also fantastic. but i'd better get to it.

i thought i'd be all postalicious now that i'm home and have time and all. i guess not.

i'm trying out a brief detox diet this week in an attempt to conquer ass-like feelings induced by holiday gluttony. am hungry.

i didn't actually get to much reading today, which means the pile of stuff to read is growing and starting to make me nervous. i wish it wouldn't do that. why should i get anxious? it's all good stuff i want to read. ::sigh:: everything makes me anxious. are there drugs for this? hm, perhaps i don't want an answer to that question.

oh, yes, while not-reading and when not cleaning the house (so much better, aahhhhh) i've been watching mucho season 5 buffy. it's the crack, yo. buffy i haven't seen! eeeeek. it's really hard to stop watching. i know the end, yes, but i don't know all the good middle stuff. finally now i understand those weird tara moments in season 4.
