Nov. 16th, 2003 06:54 ammy morning has been made by reading all about cuaron's sekrit gay runic messages about s/r. omg, shutup, i totally believe it.
and you know, i've gotten quite excited for the PoA movie. for all the other parts of it. for the possibility that cuaron can really do something good. but... the moustache! WHY GOD, WHY???? i would like to be a big person and just get beyond this wee physical detail. but. eeeuullch. come on. why?
yesterday was more good, wholesome fun. we had brunch with jenny, anney, scott, rach, my moms and jenny's mom. lovely. and when we were saying goodbye, we ran into my old friend from jr high/high school, J. she was my best friend for a few years... then she started going the hippie/pothead way and i wasn't going with her. there was much angst. and i'd have to say, she seems to have stayed her course. she mentioned how she, her husband and her three year old daughter are about to move into a school bus. um. sounds like a great way to spend a new england winter. god, that poor child.
eek. that makes two of my closest friends from my youth who have kids now. i just got an announcement from K who i haven't been in touch with for too long. she just had a daughter last month. ::headdesk:: scary shit, yo.
right. i have to go to work now. today's sermon: no dogma allowed. heh. oy. and last week's oscar wilde based sermon was disappointing. it could have been good - and led me to sit there contemplating the minister's need for a beta.
