(no subject)

hello, pre-dawn darkness. i'm a little nervous about making this morning's drive - as i have yet to see whether i will be as sneezerific as i have been of late. right now i don't feel too bad, right out of the steamy shower and listening to the dripdrip of the coffee maker.

last night over the phone, camillafarfalla and i read each other some of our favorite slashy lines from silver on the tree. the thing is, they're everywhere! and camilla in her crazy will/bran otp-ness (which i to some degree share and to another can sympathize) may have slightly altered my remus/bran bunny. but not destroyed it, oh no. oh no. remus/bran - it's the way of the future.

right so, church today. today's topic... ::thinks hard:: oh yeah, something to do with different types of churches - according to someone who wrote something... (heh). the minister quoted some to me and it was pretty funny - not talking different denominations but rather different ways of working together and such. she's going to tell the church what 'type' she thinks they are. should be interesting. we're singing an easy/boring one and ysaye barnwell's 'we are' which is all a cappella group-ish. they pull it off surprisingly well. i think i would be looking forward to the service but for the sniffles.

ah, the dripdrip has ceased. that's my cue.

when i checked e-mail before bed last night, i had a message from my high school class president. that's right. it's 10 year reunion time. oh god. looking over the attached list of people she's trying to contact, i saw names of people i would love to see again - who i miss and wonder what's happened to. then there were people i recall somewhat fondly and wouldn't mind a 5 minute catch up session with. some people who i honestly don't care about one way or another. some whose names recall and ancient and primal hatred. and quite i few names i swear i've never seen before. i went to school with those people?

for me to want to go, there'd have to be a significant number of people in the first two groups who were planning to attend.

not really. because really, i'm going to be watching the theatrical versions of fotr and ttt back to back at scott's today. so, however yucky driving and working are today, i have that to look forward to.

dvorak's 8th!!! i knew it. phew. i turned on wfcr on the last stretch of my drive, figuring it would give me some nice background for the remus/bran going on in my head (and camilla, i think you'd like it) when suddenly it gripped my attention the way only music i played at camp does. sometimes i get that, hmmm, what's that piece, i think i studied or played it somewhere... hmmm but when it's something i played at music camp, i don't necessarily recognize it right away but i am instantly transported back to the crowded concert barn. i think i would have got this one earlier if i had come in for the 1st movement instead of the second. yeah. but phew.

time to go meet the girl for lunch before the lotr-fest. and brrrrr.
