one big meh

i got up this morning to take rach to her bus but i'm thinking back to bed is the way to go. i am a sick lady. meh. jenny has the same cold and when she was over for buffy last night, the two of us were sneezing up a storm. it was funny at times but really, it's just not so enjoyable.

i wish i could bring my laptop to bed with me and tackle my overflowing 'to read' folder. but that just wouldn't be comfortable. and yes, i do know from experience.

(no subject)

i had such a nice morning-afternoon with jenny and anney (and some scott) today. ::happy sigh:: the highlight of which was probably the cuddle-fest on jenny's bed while listening to her tape of tolkien reading from lotr. gave me chills. the only not nice parts were the sniffles and sneezes - from jenny and me both. and now the poor girl is off to work the 4 to midnight shift. and i have plans to huddle under a blanket for the next several hours.
