and i need a new friday plan that doesn't involve getting on the mass pike in rush hour traffic. probably i need to go to work earlier and leave earlier. which means i need to go to bed earlier on thursdays. which means i can't really do laundry at my parents' house. pooh.

B. i can't plot for crap and this story needs a plot. but beyond the sort of general plot concept - which i have almost formed - it's going to take some attention to detail that i don' have a great capacity for. i mean, the books feel so random to me... i can't keep track of the rules about what the dark and light can and can't do to whom and when. very confusing. C. oh, i don't know. but i like things in groups of three.

i also talked to C who just got back from connecticut where she was organizing yale workers. she pulled off some amazing stuff - got replacement workers to bail out and join the strikers. and then ended up negotiating to get those people jobs when the strike ended. impressive work, my friend.
