Apr. 6th, 2003 08:23 amit's morning again and i'm in the kitchen again. funny how these things work. i have to go to church today even though the choir won't sing in the service. ::sigh:: i agreed to do an optional mozart rehearsal for those who want and need it. hm. these are the things that will be harder to do when i live far away - the extra things. eh, on vera. and then i have to go to their canvass luncheon to lead the choir in a silly donate-your-money-song. a full day of churchiness for me. wheeee!
i got a phone call yesterday - which i didn't pick up bc i didn't recognize the number *g* - from SB, my once best friend (we're talking ages 9-16, here... we kind of grew apart in high school. we even went to the same college but had not much love for each other's friends. we are very different people.) she left a message to tell me she's getting married in august. i'm not really surprised, i wondered if she was married already. seems like something she would do - along with business school. still, it's a little weird. i didn't even recognize her voice on the phone. god, i wonder if she'll change her name. i wonder if her lame college friends will be at the wedding. probably, hm? well, since i assume she wasn't just telling me but was actually going to invite me, i will bring rach and we'll make out on the dance floor or something - just to piss them off.
also got e-mail back from recently re-connected college friend RC. i'm much more straight-up excited about that reconnection. and i have enough remaining love and trust for her that i gave her this journal address. something i think i would never do with SB. after reading RC's e-mail last night, i went to sleep replaying all sorts of memories of time with her. god, i have had the most amazing friends in my life. if i think too hard about it, it breaks my heart that we're all scattered all over the place - i don't even know where some of them are. too bad for me that the college dorm was my ideal living situation.
