wow, it's late. i'm supposed to be editing but am so far doing a spectacular job of not editing. oops.

i seem to have acquired a puppy. puppy in the form of a short, skinny, awkward tenor named matt. he's in the chorus i conducted a rehearsal with one night - when their director was away. he talked to me then, told me about his other choirs and blah blah. since then, he's shown up at a couple church services. and he's been rehearsing the mozart with my choir. he always hangs around after rehearsals til it's just me and the guy who's closing up. and he walks out to the lot with me. and now he's going to come sing on sunday.

he's rather cute and harmless, but just to avoid weirdness i'm forcing rach to come to church with me on sunday and be pointedly snuggly. better to be safe than awkward.

and hey, look, the lovely and talented antheia made a home for slashers against the war.

also, i miss starbuckle. jenny dear, did i hear you say something about too little work next week? i think we should revel in the angsty best friend lurve that is harry and ron's... what do you say?

ok. i think i have filled my sirius/remus weeping quota for the day, thanks to annelarissa and her linkage. ::sniffle::

i thought i would be going to work today but i forgot i have to drive monkey to her... acupuncture? physical therapy? hm, some kind of appointment. alas. s'alright, really, because i'm exhausted.

i wish i could go see ttt right now. i feel like it would provide the kind of catharsis i could use at the moment. supposed to see it monday... guess i can wait.

sometimes i'm just a bit stoopid. having to be in central square at 1:30 does not mean i leave the house at 1:30. oh no. it means i leave the house now.

lots of yay

yay. we're gearing up. i just printed up some slashy bush/blair posters (thanks to badgermonkey for those) and rach is making some noise makers (plastic bottles filled with dry beans and covered with the same slashy pic). we have bus confirmation. we have many layers of clothing selected. snacks for the bus. we're ready.

which is good since our goal is to be in bed in 15 minutes. dude, we have to get up at 4. 4!!! whew.

so, there are protests going on everywhere tomorrow - no reason to feel left out. go on and join slashers against the war. let your voices be heard.

mmhmm. sleepy now. yay for meeting kate and sara and chloe and camilla and more tomorrow! yay for bus rides. yay for everything.
