my brief search for ron/draco didn't yield much of worth. to be honest, i didn't look very hard. i found this. not bad, in a 13-year old kind of way. at least there is no detailed enumeration of the elements of draco's smell. rare, indeed.

in reading a response to my post last night about my otp... i noticed there were several sentences missing. how did i do that? the post didn't make half as much sense as it would have with those sentences. alas. not going to bother with it now.

like a dirty shirt

whenever i give my muscles even the smallest bit of deliberate exercise, they respond instantly. just doing the little pilates work out yesterday and today has my butt a bit firmer, my cleavage a bit more pronounced, little tummy muscles trying to make themselves known under that lovely mushy layer that covers them. they're practically singing with glee that they have been called to duty. makes me wonder why i don't use them more. and why i cultivate this antagonistic relationship with my body, making it sit here for hour upon hour, until muscle melts into flab. ::sigh::

so, i'm about to head out for five hours of filing. whee. no, let me try that again... wheeeeee!!! oh, i'm such a bad liar.

and then tonight i'm hanging with my friend r. should be pretty fun. it's been a while. we might watch buffy - it's a rerun but she won't know that. ::evil grin::

can it be that there is only one bastian/atreyu story out there? seems unlikely to me - esp in the book they're just begging to be slashed. i mean... yeah, begging. but i can only find the one. is there a good place to look that i'm not thinking of? any thoughts?

also, i am lamenting the state of my icons. first i need more lotr-themed ones. yes. and more attractive lotrips icons - the only one i have i made in a hurry and it's ugly. i'm working on a thewlis/oldman one, just to see if i can handle it. my hps need updating too... where'd i put that one harrimad_sol gave me... hmmm...

mail call

omg. so, like, the one task i have left to do before leaving is an odious one (writing a grovelly e-mail to the man i want as my employer). so, of course, i'm procrastinating. my last method of procrastination was to check the mail box. and, as it turns out, this was the BEST MAIL DAY EVER. woooohoooo!!!
