home is where the sleep is

man, am i tired. whoa. but it's so worth it. i had a fabulous time last night. so good to see scottxwl and harrimad_sol again and to meet soulstorage and fuschia who were v.v. nice. and the buffy! was fantastic fun. it was great to watch with a bunch of other excited people (read: squeeing girls [and scott]). and fun too to sit around and chat afterward. but still, i am all about the spike. and that last scene. ::shivers in anticipation::

and then i stayed with harrimad at hampshire. also great fun. it was a little slash sleepover. i mean, it only makes sense - we're two people who stay up way too late all the time reading slash... so together, we did exactly that. (and also talked to hominidj on the phone, yay) oh, it was so great. my face ached from smiling when i went to sleep in those comfy sheets. so fun to be giggly with someone about hp slashy goodness. i even got to read a wee bit of her own fic - which you MUST keep writing! yes. and we had pancakes this morning. yum!

and now i've been to a faculty meeting at the music school and had lunch with rach and i'm home and i'm frickin exhausted. need a nap and a shower.

i finished listening to PoA in the car just as i got home. ::sob:: that is the best fucking book. the whole extended climax leaves me weepy. remus. sirius. wah! i love remus. how can anyone not? poor, tortured soul. the angst. THE ANGST!

oh yeah, and...

for those who wanted to know, that long sirius/remus to which i have been referring is lost and found. desperately needs an editor. and. well, could use another writer really. good plot, not very good writing. but you take what you can get, you know?

hmm. just read a rather raunchy sirius/remus. post PoA. sorry, but no. post PoA sirius and remus are not raunchy. not saying that there shouldn't be hot mansex. just saying... not so much with the raunch. too much tragedy for raunchiness. imho.

also just watched the first ever buffy episode. hey. i thought those reruns were just going to keep going. damn. i think this means i will never see the fifth season. darnit.

rach is still at work. :( <- sad me. good thing i saw her for lunch today at least. i miss my lady. and i'm going to have to go pick her up when she's done so i can't go to sleep right now like i desperately want to. so... oh, well, i guess some more sirius/remus for me!

just wondering...

do all monks wear birkenstocks? or just the ones who live in cambridge?
