don't stop me now

oh, i've been being productive so far this morning... can't stop can't stop... please, don't let me play with my journal formatting any more... i can't. it ate my yesterday. but... if anyone knows... how you can have a disjointed friends view and still view the friends' icons, please take pity on pathetic me and tell me. i've asked lj support but no one's biting.

read malfoy, p.i.. last night. ahahaha. highly enjoyable, i must say. the au-ness of it was something of a relief... helps it stand out from the myriad of astronomy tower-detention-fight/snog/fight fics that i love so much.

i actually talked to claire last night. she's alive. and mostly well. working like a dog... it was 9:30 or so when she called and she was driving home from waltham where she'd been visiting janitors on the job. and she had to be back at work at 6:30 am. crazy girl. it was a really fun chat with her... why can't i just let that be? why am i all like clearly, there are many things we didn't say? bc really, that's not clear at all. it's just my instinct to be angry her about something, or to assume she's angry at me. LET IT GO alfuckingready. mph.

and starbuckle! i don't know what happened last night. all of a sudden aim wouldn't work anymore. ::kicks computer:: meh. love you!

i am being so productive. applying for jobs, catching up on e-mail, doing churchy work. cooking too. oh, it's great.

in the realm of fun coincidences, this woman from the school where my women's chorus job starts next week e-mailed me to ask for a bio for the school web site. and i thought, funny how she has the same name as someone i went to camp with. then i thought, music school - music camp, what are the chances? it was her. neato. not as amazingly crazy as when i ran into my old camp bunkmate in dakar, senegal. but still fun. she remembered that i played violin... i can't remember her instrument for the life of me. oh well.

ok ok keep riding that productivity train... more to do. always more to do. oh, and my hotmail is being funky... so i'm not getting e-mail in a timely manner. just in case that matters to any one...

on the way home from church was thinking about... (any gueses?... that's right, you got it)... sex. boysex, to be more specific. i was thinking, i need to see the movie priest again. love that movie. i think it has some issues in the area of characterization and plot development but... it's still good. and it was the first m/m sex scene i watched that did anything for me. a revelation, really. also, it is not a jesus movie but it comes close...

i love nothing more than a good jesus movie. ok, not really true since the advent of slash in my life, but there is still an element of truth. but it occurs to me i haven't seen all that many...
last temptation of christ - i hate it, i hate the book, i hate it even though it has sexy!ugly!willem dafoe in it, but i've seen it several time anyway as it features (you guessed it) jesus.
jesus of montreal - the best jesus movie of all time. one of my fave flicks ever. brilliant.
jesus christ superstar - love it. the only andrew lloyd weber i can tolerate anymore.
life of brian - ok, yeah, i know, not really a jesus movie. but... kinda. i like to throw it in there anyway. there are lots of jesus-y jokes anyway.
