gonna trouble the water

hrm... if i can just do this real quiet-like, maybe rach will keep on playing her new game and i will have time to read ivyblossom's latest before she notices... think?

hey! spike was in my dream last night (as in buffy, not my car - who is also named spike). this is exciting because, no matter how nice i think it would be, i never seem to have dreams about fandom characters. i would love to have me a nice (or not nice) harry potter dream. i have made significant efforts toward having a lotr dream. but no. i just have to read about yours and live vicariously. but spike. that's a start.

we went on a 21 mile bike ride yesterday. amazingly enough, i don't really hurt today. am impressed with myself, yes indeedy. and also, it was fun. the minuteman trail is very pretty - though also somewhat crowded with other active folks.

crazy things will happen today. oh yes. painting of ceilings and the cleaning out of that one room we've been ignoring since we moved in. ugh. and maybe also some swimming at walden pond. but chilly though...

you know what's fun? painting ceilings! oh yes, let me tell you. especially without a ladder. the thrilling ache in the neck and shoulders, the spritz of paint in the eyes and mouth, the tightening of the lungs from the fumes. really, could you think of anything you'd rather do with your time?

sarcasm aside, the ceilings in the bed and living rooms look much much better and for this i am glad. *smile*
