screw the asparagus, i'm good with a saw

i leave for paris in just over 12 hours. unreal. completely. i'm kind of almost mostly packed. list of things to pack and do is on palm pilot... hmm... where'd it go?

on siena's advice, we'll be spending more time in italy. i'm glad about this. a big part of the trip for me is seeing siena (the girl and the city) and the life she's been living for the past couple years. also, peeing my pants with excitement over seeing florence and venice. squee!

then there's the missing the girl part. somehow, when i started to make this plan with friendrachel, it seemed like i would have no problem being away from gfrachael for two weeks. should never have smoked that crack. what was i thinking? just the anticipation of missing her is practically ripping my guts out. meh.

and i missed jennystarbuckle on im tonight. missed her, i say. hmmm... perhaps that's bc i didn't get on til 2 am. another person i will miss while away.

sigh.

ok, for any interested parties, this is the plan:
6/18 - paris
6/19 - overnight train to rome
6/20-1 - rome/siena
6/22-5- siena w/daytrips around tuscany
6/26 - venice
6/27-8 - provence
6/29-7/1 - paris
7/2 - back to boston

so, in case i'm too crazed to post tomorrow (seems likely), i'll miss y'all. really, i will. i'm so addicted to my daily updates on all of your lives. hope everyone has a great two weeks.

now, before bed i think i should have time for... one remus/sirius and the story jenny sent me. yes?

wishing i had time to send some individual e-mails. but no.

i'm most looking forward to the prospects of: hanging with my friend siena, eating senegalese food, seeing an opera or some other fun classical performance, the train ride through provence, playing "gay man or eurotrash?" the duomo in florence, thinking about the passion in venice... being young, crazy and in europe.
